Caseware CEO David Osborne Recognized for Third Consecutive Year in Accounting Today Top 100
Osborne secures his place in the 2024 annual ranking of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting
TORONTO – December 5, 2024 – Caseware, a global leader in cloud-enabled audit, financial reporting and data analytics solutions, is delighted to announce that CEO David Osborne has been recognized on the Accounting Today Top 100 list for the third consecutive year. Since joining the organization in 2021 as Chief Executive Officer, Osborne has led the company’s global corporate strategy around the growth and expansion of Caseware’s market-leading, cloud-enabled solutions.
The Accounting Today Top 100 is a much-anticipated listing which identifies the thought leaders, change-makers, regulators and other leaders who are shaping the profession, and the issues that they face as they chart the future of accounting.
Caseware’s Record Year of New Product Innovation
This year’s recognition comes at an exciting time for Osborne’s organization. In February 2024, Caseware’s Sherlock cloud app secured inclusion in the Accounting Today 2024 Top New Products list, while in May, the company announced the launch of Caseware’s first AI digital assistant, Caseware AiDA, which is now available in multiple markets including the US, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands and the UK. In September, Caseware’s SQM solution was included in Accounting Today’s Top Apps for Accountants for 2024 and that same month, Caseware extended the availability of its ESG reporting solution to transform sustainability reporting in markets across the globe.
Of Osborne’s inclusion in the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting listing, Accounting Today stated, “Caseware’s tools are at the heart of a revolution in audit through collaborations with the AICPA, CPA.com and leading audit firms, particularly with this year’s rollout of the Dynamic Audit Solution, but Osborne is not sitting still. The company launched its first ever AI digital assistant this year and has plenty more planned in that area.”
“Inclusion in the Top 100 Most Influential People list is an honor that reflects not just individual achievement, but the collective innovation of our entire team,” said David Osborne. “2024 has been a year of multiple achievements for Caseware, and we’re particularly proud to see recognition for Caseware AiDA, our AI-powered digital assistant which we launched earlier in the year. AiDA is the latest enhancement to our industry-leading Caseware Cloud platform and complements the suite of solutions we have designed with accounting, audit and finance professionals in mind. In a market filled with noise about artificial intelligence, AiDA provides secure, fit-for-purpose assistance that will allow customers to embrace the power of AI every day, enabling them to do their jobs better than ever before.”
